The challenge

HedoN daughter LTI is a leading supplier of price displays for the car fuel market using a backlight printed film technology. Their products are sold worldwide and meet the highest quality standards. They now sought to develop a new, high reliability, low-cost modular display.

The solution

Modularity was achieved through a combination of production technologies and material use optimization. The aluminum housing is easily adjustable in height and width and a single drive unit that is installed above and below was developed.

People Creating Value

We were responsible for the development of the mechanical module, from concept through production outsourcing to various suppliers, including a number in the Far East. The close collaboration with the software and electronics engineers at HedoN enabled the development of a ruggedized motor controller that holds up even under extreme conditions.
